balance & restart nerf hit this deck pretty hard.
been experimenting this deck by adding the RESD, king of the swamp & a poly to the deck and its not that bad.
and i need to know what they mean "6 types", i mean monster types are clear, but are equip spells & quick spells considered a type or not?
Now we have to run Canadia and floodgate trap hole with balance. It's a good way to protect the monsters and maybe chain it with double cyclone. I really expect that I didn't spent all my gems in a deck that will die in 3 weeks.
floodgate, canadia, & divine wrath probably the best trap card in this new balance deck since its favor some matchup.
the only bad thing here is both floodgate & canadia seems like the counterplay of drystan lol.
PS: maybe teching a single 'typhoon' or a single 'collected power' is nice, but im not sure.
Same here. Also opened 130 packs and no medrauts or drystan. I'm giving up on packs, really. U need an insane luck or a 🔥 ton of gems to get any not so cheap deck
What coincidence... I myself, and two other friends I know, has this tragic exp with Noble Knights! We only drew Medraut and Drystan only after atleast 50 boxes remains, I would tell you know this is very much ANNOYING.
Even though destiny is hit to once per duel, you rarely need it more than that. I replaced balance with it since plat 3 to test for next season. Have climbed to legend 3 atm, it's still very powerful and balance really isn't missed except for like 1/10 games where you dont draw monsters.
On god, i opened 190 pack to get the second Drystan and one Medraut. I really think Konami make them appear in latest box to encourage to turn on paid content. (Sorry my english is not good)
hmm new balance actually works almost (maybe) like old balance.
so far it gives me 1 monster 1 spell 1 trap + 1 random and thats not bad at all
and if you wonder what 6 trap is the best, wild tornado & typhoon, since both can destroy your equip and enemy faceup trap/spell aswell.
but if you think that was too expensive (both were sr from old main box) just play oops/disarmament/interdimensional.

well this post was my initial thought because at that time noone know how the very new balance work. turns out its actually a buff for NK, imo the plays is more consistent, even now you can 🔥 the parasite player if you draw oops. (got sh*tted so hard the first time i play NK prenerf against burn parasite lol)
