This doesn t even make sense anymore. They limited rose and marsh. Wich was a good choice. Then they raped restart and balance. The only good skills for actual deck builders. I admit, drawing a new hand is powerfull, but that rng tho.. damn. And after all that, they throw in these fur hires? These things can go bananas first turn. Yet they strife for balance in this game.. haha :') ugotmefúckedupkonami
Let me ask you a question: Are Restart/Balance bad now? If they are, you should switch to a better skill. But if you say there are no better skills, then Restart/Balance are still the best skills.
And Fur Hire isn't too excellent going first. The best you can do if you go first is to summon Wiz, and even then, you'd have to leave a vulnerable Beat or something.
As for actual game balance... it was never too great. No matter when, there is only 5 decks or so that thrived. Still, Spellbook are no less weaker and Fate can destroy Fur Hire. Amazoness' banishing will also stop Fur Hire from using Mayhem. Noble Knights with Arms of Destiny are still indestructible... I'm not sure what has changed, except Sylvan's odds get a fair bit worse now.
They do not strife for balance. Not only at least.
They nerf stuff so that you invest in a new overpowered (OP)deck.
They will leave that deck OP for a while so that more people start to play it. When enough ppl have done so they bring in the countercards and nerfs + new better powercreep deck.
Thats what it seems like.
Because why else nerf sylvan if you release something even more rediculous?
Fur Hire actually have better chance when going first, than going second.
Going second means risking that first Normal Summon getting responded with Chalice/Floodgate, or similar cards. Which would potentially ruin Fur Hire for a turn, and considering their low stats, one turn could be all your opponent needs to kick the furries out.
Yes, but Chalice/Floodgate is the only reason for wanting to go first, aside from wanting to summon Wiz as soon as possible too. Even then, you can probably still kick their tail anyway...? Fur Hire really shines when you can perform a special summon with Donpa or something on the field.
Compared to Spellbook who goes first and set up Fate-- that's far more banana (for going first).
