remember that multipliers don't apply, you have to get a DA of 5k or more without putting multipliers into account.

Except the DA Score isn't altered at all by the reward multiplier.

A 3x reward multiplier just means you get 3 items per 1000 DA score instead of 1.

It doesn't multiply a 1000 DA by 3 to make 3000 DA

Redid it with a reward multiplier of 1. I got the same DA but it counted this time. Must have been the reward multiplier. That is stupid though.

it doesn't work for me, i've beaten every NPC in 5D's with ore than 5000 points and nothing happens

You have to beat the specific NPC, which is Sector Security with the condition above. Not just NPCs.
