Fortress Warrior only helps you stall against this card, but if you don't quickly do something to get rid of Chaos Max, the Chaos Max player would still eventually beat you. Fortress Warrior can't stall more than once per turn.

Blue eyes is more than chaos max tho. There aren't any reason you had a hard time against fortress warrior in the first place
