Ascalon + Trunade can beat every single deck easily. Only card that can stop it is Sphere Kuriboh. There are too many broken decks but this is the one that abuse the KC Cup. Invoker & Lunalight may get hit in the next banlist too.
in spite of the recent deal on URs the sales of cosmic cyclone and other backrow (BR) removal more or less didn't reach it's target. They can't risk releasing hand trap now or players might entirely skip buying BR removal.
Wait until BR removal reaches the sales target, glorious will be the ban list.
Backrow is your best investment in the game. At least until today only CC at 3. Trunade & TTH at 2. Rest of the broken UR traps can still be abused everywhere. So what if they ban Shiranui? I will just bring over my 10UR traps to build a new deck.
