I don't know if Witchcrafters have an easy time getting back Verre when it's banished. Hopefully someone else can answer you.

Banish her is the best solution. Everything else doesn't work.

Send to the GY: They use Holiday
Return to the hand: They use Unveiling
Return to the deck: They use another Witchcrafter to SS her from the deck

Or you could get rid off their Spells and then use one of the methods above.

But their trap Patronus deals with banish right?
And it's continuos. So you keep spending resources to banish but they keep getting her back to the deck for the cost of adding 1 spell to their deck. Feels sooo balanced.

Patronus is not really good so most WC decks don't run it. And even if they use it, you can use counter traps or any S/T removal.

You call it not good but many other decks would be ready to exchange any other card for something like this.

About 50% of the witchcrafter decks use Patronus. It's neither a high nor a low number.

Someone posted an answer on it already but you can use the effect of Blue Eyes Solid Dragon to permanently negate Verre. Then don't destroy her. Just negate the others and deck them out.

I did it once.
My Solid Dragon negated 1 Fortune Lady Every + 2 Verres. He had 1 card in his deck.
I so much wanted my opponent to deck out that I forgot to use Enemy controller to win the game several turns earlier. Then I lost. But it was still memorable.

use Chain Disappearance and skill Mind of the Plana.

But I don't think both are worth running in this meta, just to counter 1 smug IoIi

Banishing it is a common way in most deck to deal with verre.

If you want the best card to counter WC, Necrovalley will shutdown the entire witchcrafter gameplay

Necrovalley is amazing if you don't depend on your gy, but it's not a guarantee too, since WC can run Lyla and/or Storm
