I am planing on investing my gems in Ritual Beasts. Maybe someone here could help me. How good are RB against Cyber Dragons, Desperado Barrel Dragon, Lunalights, Blackwings and Shiranuis without using Herald of the Abyss? I really like big brain decks but I am not sure how good RB are against above decks. Could someone help me please? :)
Hmm, In my opinion, Blackwings Matchups will be depending on the opening hand. Lunalight seems hard if they manage to summon Sabre Dancer. Ritual Beast seems will have favorable matchups again Cyber Dragon. Shiranui seems hard. I'm not sure for the Desperado Matchups.
It will be ok vs the decks you mentioned. However the real question is what they can do vs invokedsaber, chrystons, lightsworn pop, and other explosive decks or decks that can summon 2-3 2600+ attack monsters on field in a turn? My answer, nearly nothing.
So should I rather invest in Hero’s instead of Ritual Beasts? I would love to play RB but if they will make me throw my phone away because they got so much unfavourable matchups
RBs are not bad. You can even win against some meta decks if you're lucky and learn how to play around some cards. If you like their playing style, go for them. But if you're only interested in reaching KoG as easy as possible, choose a tiered deck.
I‘ve done it and I don’t regret it. Was the whole day practicing and finally I am on a 16 wins streak :)
Even if the game is longer but on this way I am just having more fun instead of OTK‘ing people ... I smash them :D
Im about to do the same and go for RBs , i love their playstyles but was a little concerned how solid are they vs the current meta , since I’d like to rank up with them as well
Try it :) but first play a lot of games offline to learn the playstyle and the combos because you will take a lot of time to learn them properly. I was learning it almost 2 days playing non stop to get everything right. If you want to try it in PVP then think fast and klick faster because there the timer is your worst nightmare.
Actually not bad investment. You can also build Yosenju and magnet warrior (magnetic field and super team buddy force unite). They are a bit tricky for you but also tricky for your opponent.
Pros: easy to dodge during opponent's turn
Strongest monster can avoid battle traps & sphere kuriboh
Cons: minus removal, only petlephin here
Strongest monster is only at 2600 ATK
Hey you :) the post was mine. I play with 2 sphere kuribohs and 2 WoD. Most of the time this helps me to get over monsters above 2600 atk. And I use Tie that Binds because then it will be 2900 atk which is even enough going over a Cocytus - which ist clearly uneffected by WoD or Kuribohs
yeah biggest time waster along with mayakashi.wastes my time before finishing me off wastes my time when i most likely lose just to add another card.wastes time by comboing.funny thing is i won a lot beacuse of timeout.but thats bs .
i just barely win against spellbook using aromages. he keep negate my monster effect for the rest of turn rendered me useless cant banish. his end phase he pull back spell negate effect like pig.
