800 ATK drop is too much, should have been 300 at most. With 800 ATK drop, it's practically only useful for a very minor deck thinning.

according to cryptozoology, this species hunts in packs. It is only logical if it loses ATK when there's no friend around.

There will be times where you can't do all of those yet and need a beater instead.

But then again, if you need a beater you won't run a 1200 ATK monster.

Yes, the effect can also be read as: "If you control another "Photon Sabre Tiger", this card gains 800 ATK.

..with 1200 base ATK.
