This card isn't as broken as it looks, especially in practice. Y'all need to test this out with CyDra at 3 copies against this meta to see what I mean.
This particular meta is a poor example, simply because Buster Blader the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman, Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon and Blue-Eyes are super-common and outmuscle it.
That being said, the number of Koa'ki Meiru players that just pass with an open field turn 1 would probably prove its worth, lol.
That's why I am saying this card is fine in duel links as long as we don't have access to Power Bond.
Lots of backrow hate and spell negation and monsters that outmuscle Twin as you said.
You can't summon this turn 1 without using Poly and Poly is trash that takes away all your hand resources. The most optimal way is going second and opening both CyDra and Hex.
The current meta consisting of big monsters doesn't mean the top decks will always be that way. Not long ago, we had things like Fur Hire and Vampires that would get stomped on by Cyber Twin.
A card currently not being stupid doesn't mean it will still be acceptable once, say, Ancient Gears get taken down a notch.
You know I can agree with you in a sense but in practice, CyDra's best play would be summoning Cyber Twin in duel links. Assuming we were given CyDra at 3 copies and Twin Dragon.
They don't swarm, have 0 backrow protection/spot removal, they have a 🔥ty turn 1, so are they going to be sitting on Twin Dragon the whole game? Not really, every deck has an answer for Twin Dragon.
You just know fanboys are gonna complain about how "Komoney only releases broken cards as URs in packs!!!111" if they release either this and/or Cyber Dragon in a pack.
To be fair, it's kinda hard to build a proper Cyber Dragon deck without Cyber Dragon. It's kinda up to Konami to handle the release of these cards, to ensure people don't get mad. I suggest some sort of Redeeming Zane event based on his appearances in either the Yubel or Darkness Arcs from the show, although packs work too.
