King of Game decks [Aug 2018]

I want to share with u guys the results of 2 decks I was experimenting recently, first:geargia-complete Faliure,I tried the defensive version and the aggressive one (life absorbing + needle), the deck dies to backraws, wiz negating ties, wifu effect) the defensive version with canadias and curse performed better in the absence of ties and on ties Faliure then I tried using backraws removers = failed ( backraws removers 🔥 the deck defences),the 2nd is sylvans, I tried the lover version and marshall one, the lover one works well with last gamble + lover is great against Amazoness and backraws, the leaf one is more aggressive but bricky (ised grit), after I finished 100 duels using lover version I found that the deck preformed the best against heros, 65% success rate against Amazoness (I techs jinzo), 60% against furhire, didn't duel a single vampire, the deck did great against stall/ burn, 50%, the deck didn't win against spellbooks wifu deck, 50% against hazy, nobles are bad matchup. monster gate is a good tech

To be honest, the only reason why Geargia is THE best control deck right now is that they're hard to stop once they get started and game mechanics are often deceiving. Trust me, most people don't know that the number of destruction gets before resolution so to stop a Geargianchor for example, you need to TTH or destroy the other two; not the Anchor. Same goes for Attacker.

The games I played were in KOG rank so nearly all the opponents I faced knew how to interact properly (experimenting decks
for the KC cup), I'm really confused how did the guy with geargia deck reach KOG this season, I know if the deck goes aggressive you will probably win but maintaining the win streak with this deck is nearly impossible!

It's success depends on timing and good S/T lineups. The current format is explosive and is no place for control decks to freely climb the ladder...that being said, it's not impossible to climb if you happen to start your climb with a favoring matchup (RNG for Matching) and a well prepared backrow, it's possible to make it to KOG within a few hours.

True, when I face stall/burn, heros and any other non-otk decks the deck shines bright but as Long as Canadia and TTH dominant the ladder the deck will face great difficulty to work optimally, super rush is generally good but not when ur monster got floodgated, even pulse will not save u, WOD is a good choice but the card is conditional, forbidden chalice is not good since it boost enemy monster!

I dunno, I think Chalice would go great with WoD, but that wouldn't be a good backrow lineup for Geargia though. Geargia's main problem is finding a deck they can outpace, since Fur Hire is about 56%+ of the current meta, it's a difficult find.

Chalice is generally good but not in geargia deck, geargia monsters are the things to protect and boosting enemy effect monster with 400 atk points is not a good idea cuz u may need to use a second backraw( 2 for 1) to protect your monster from being destroyed in battle, didn't see a single player using chalice with geargia in WCS finals, they used 3 super rushs instead!
