How is this filler if the official YuGiOh Omega simulator will have rush duels cards and skins? And your rules can be applied easily in duel links, including exclusive skills, to draw 5 cards and invoke tribute without limitation per turn. Maybe in the future Komoney can think about adding Sevens if the game still exists 3-5 years from now
Also, have you actually seen how Rush Duel works, and what cards are available right now? Again, it's essentially a completely brand new game, just reusing some of Yugioh asset.
It has different gameplay than Speed Duel, and since it's a brand new game, most of the cards will be weak vanillas for a loooooong time. They're not meant to compete with Speed Duel, which already has powerful effects.
Trademark license doesn't necessarily means a release, it could also be simply to protect the name in various regions so people can't use the name for their own profit. Do you know GameFreak and Nintendo also trademarked the names "Pokemon WaterBlue", "Pokemon Gray", and "Pokemon Delta Emerald"?
So we still have to wait and see to know if the trademarking actually means anything big.
