so this deck requires at least 3 main boxes. thanks p2w. hope there will be another deck using witchcrafter. predaplants sounds interesting but only one fusion isnt enough to handle the current meta.i am not sure about the evil eye thing, i mean where is the win con or bo$$ monster
It's been like that for awhile now, only Shiranui and Ritual beasts are tiered cheap decks and Shiranui is honestly dead man walking at this point and Ritual beast is hard to play.
A f2p player can still make a Shiranui deck by useing raigeki breaks (same box) or other cheaper trap options (windstorm of etaqua, curse of Anubis etc). However, atm the best f2p deck is lunalights. Only need 1 good time through the box (or less if you are lucky) and you are done.
Those decks were 3 sphere + 2 kite. But I agree you can swap for normal kuriboh. The issue isn't climbing as much as it's not fun to climb with the same deck every month. I've got a Shiranui deck I used for the KCCups, it's good, gets wins, but I'm bored with the deck I want to try those new decks but I'm poor, gotta scrape.
Well thats the sad true most f2p duelists suffer from, like me too. It is not easy to make many tier decks. Once you make a good tier deck you use it for months until you get enough gems to procceed to a newer deck. Using the same deck is ceerainly boeing but the only solution for ranks. P2W players can just swap deck each time a new box/structure deck is released. Well, we have to get used to it.
I'm budgeted p2w,i bought 2 structure deck (discount) and managed to get KOG for 8 times using that deck whatever meta is, to think that you only need to pay cash for 2 discounted SD and get 8x KOG is very cheap (that SD isn't meta)
Too many players using f2p as an excuse for not being able to keep up with the meta. It just sad, as many player reach KoG each month without spent a single cent.
Probably they stuck at legend or maybe platinum, and then they blaming people for it. What a funny show.
The key point is gems management. Week 1 KOG f2p new account is possible for many good players, yes. Broken arch in big boxes tend to lure new players to go wild cash (or start to blame other whales). But if you have patience and aim for miniboxes in your starter run, you'll be good for long term game. Know your things, no need to invest in every new shiny deck if your current deck is good for PVP
Evil eyee is really good you can get medusa attack into 4k+ easy and you constantly send their monsters to their hand with trap that you can recycle grave
Plus the banish monsters from grave destroy metal decks, I haven't lost to shira just send synchro to hand and banish their tuners with quick effect
