I couldn't FUSION-SUMMON (w/ polymerization) Buster Blader the destruction swordmaster usind this card and an Explosive Dragon in my hand as Fusion Material... anyone knows why? :'(
Are you trying to summon the BBdragon swordmaster? Of course you cannot, because the BBswordmaster is NOT treated as Buster Blader in hand, BUT you can use that dark he + BBswordmaster to Red-Eyes Slash Dragon
...The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion has two effects. He was talking about just using it as a regular fusion Substitute with Polymerization. The Attribute of the Fusion is irrelevant for that effect.
Unless this was a Vagabond game with no Special Summons, he forgot to add the Swordmaster to the Extra Deck or the opponent had something blocking Special Summons, what he said should have worked.
it actually use to work on duel links but it doesn’t work anymore. They haven’t changed the text on the card either using it as a substitution for any card should mean ANY card bb destruction swordsman is 1 bb + 1 dragon type, I have a dragon type and the game doesn’t register hex sealed fusion as a bb substitute. Quite literally I believe that The game disabled it specifically for bb
It wasn't a balance changed. The OCG changed how cards like Destruction Swordsman Fusion work, and Duel Links was updated to follow the change. (For you to use DSF, you need to use Buster Blader, as it can only Summon a monster that requires Buster Blader.)
Pretty easy to tell it wasn't a targeted random nerf by Fusion Summoning it with literally any other card besides Future Fusion or DSF.
