but you can reset the flip effect if it is not destroyed. for example flipped up by battle. can be useful for some combos especially Flip archetypes such as subterrors or Krawlers.
Really? You try to compare canadia, a slow trap card that only targets opponent monsters with godly book of moon? Book of moon can be used the same turn you draw it and can be used on your monsters too for flip triggering or for deffensive purposes. They try to karma cut? Flip your monster f/d. Drawing mirror force? Flip face down. Offerings to the doomed? Face down. This will be the new 3x staple
"Cope. Book of Mumbo Jumbo doesn’t come back as a monster, doesn’t work with Wetlands and doesn’t Xyz summon rank 2s."
As if Canadia is being used with Wetlands and for Rank 2 XYZs. Also you don't use it to bring it back as a monster though that may be a common scenario.
All this is irrelevant.
Teracope. The bringing back as a monster is extremely common, even if Wetlands and rank 2s aren't (they still exist). The extra body it provides is extremely relevant, like it or not.
It does help subterror, if your opponent used BoM against you you get free special summon, you can also use it in your monsters for both reset monsters or dodge a karma cut
Maybe subterror decks will end up replacing needle ceiling to add this card
