What we really need is a copy of General or Doom Dragon. They very noticeably lack a monster with ATK, having to rely on Synchro Monsters to get anywhere, which isn't great, particularly given there are better archetypes capable of making them.

This was Kalin's second event, even if he wasn't unlockable the first time. (And realistically, Kalin probably should've had General as a level reward.)

The point is to make Infernity at least playable, which they definitely aren't at the moment.

This was the general point of infernity but okay. They were a synchro deck. Outside of doom they weren't intended to have alot of attack.

Cards being on the list in the tcg hasnt affected this game before. Just like cards in links being hit that arent hit in our irl list. We could very easily still get archfiend and launcher. This game doesnt have the zones to support the highspeed synchro spam it has irl.

That was the point of them in the TCG/OCG at the time of their release, yes. But that is never going to be good enough in Duel Links (we're not going to get Launcher or triple Necromancer), and even in the TCG/OCG, Infernities were more successful with Xyz than Synchro. (At least once Launcher got limited.)

And while the TCG/OCG limits largely haven't affected DL (though the number of limited/semi-limited cards we've received is TINY), the reasons WHY they were hit are still relevant. Even moreso in Duel Links given the lower LP. Infernity Launcher is not a card that will ever be acceptable in Duel Links.

To put things into perspective... Of all the cards on the current TCG Forbidden/Limited list, Duel Links has received Samsara Lotus, Ancient Fairy Dragon, That Grass Looks Greener, Cyber-Stein, Phantom Skyblaster, Evigishki Mind Augus, Gem-Knight Master Diamond, Gold Sarcophagus, Monster Gate and Destiny HERO - Malicious.

Most of those are hit in the TCG due to mechanics not in Duel Links.

Konami just never release a complete deck. Dark Magician, Blue-eyes, Zombie, U.A., Blackwing and now Infernity.. all of them are weakened version of TCG and that's what everyone hated.

Oh yes, because I'm sure people would enjoy cards like Blackwing Tamer - Obsidian Hawk Joe and Infernity Launcher being cards in Duel Links, just like everyone's clamouring for Raigeki and Mystic Mine.

A card being acceptable in the TCG doesn't mean it is acceptable here. Restructer Revolution and Woodland Sprite are broken cards here. They were always garbage in the TCG and OCG.

It goes the other way, too. Of all the archetypes on the Duel Links banlist, only Spellbook, Six Samurai and HERO were strong decks in the TCG/OCG. Sylvan kinda as well. But things like Fur Hire, Cyber Angels (excluding some engines in Herald of Perfection, which probably still wasn't Tier 2) and Amazoness were never even Tier 2 in the TCG/OCG.

I believe that everyone here would like to play a complete deck of an archetype. But KOMONEY only allowed NPC to use them.

We have seen NPCs using cards such as Eternal Soul, Apprentice Illusion Magician, Elemental HERO Stratos, Elemental HERO Prisma, Foolish Burial, Book of Life, Mezuki etc... But they never release them at all.

They give NPC's exclusive cards for several reasons. The biggest one is simply because it has no effect on PvP balancing. They don't have to worry much about an NPC card being broken, as it doesn't give anyone a massive advantage.

Also, it makes the NPC decks more varied, and somewhat makes up for them using their decks worse than a human opponent would.

It also probably gives them a little information on what effect that card could have IN PvP down the line. Obviously if they notice players struggling against a certain NPC deck, they can take notes on why that is.

"An NPC used them" is, regardless, a VERY terrible argument for why a card should be allowed. Just as "it appeared in the anime/manga" is.

I mean i used Red Dragon Archfiend against Kalin and he literally put 1 Necromancer and 2 Avenger in attack position and in another duel he summoned Hundred eyes and used the beetle effect when i had no good monsters, for that type of 🔥 the NPCs can used broken cards bc they are so stupid they usually can't use them correctly

Well, Grass is banned in the TCG yet it’s still here in Duel Links. And we’ve also got other cards that are on the F/L list such as Gishki Mind Augus, Ancient Fairy Dragon, Samsara Lotus, etc.

While it may be unlikely we’ll get them soon, it’s still possible it can happen

Grass was banned in TCG because of Infernoids. If Infernoids ever make it to Duel Links, im 99% sure they would ban Grass.

Grass was also abused in decks it had no business being thrown in, like Gem Knight FTK variants and a bunch of other topping rogue decks

They are limited because the archetype is kinda too powerful.
