I hope Marik unlock event is a February event. It only showed Super Chazz and KC Cup. I suspect in the near future, Marik, Roba, and Grandpa will all be unlockable.
It's okay, I understand where you are coming from. I just wish they would have released him on his birthday, December 23rd. Then maybe we could have gotten some free gems.
The quote would make sense if it is looked at as Marik being ready to take on the challenge of living a regular life in the world outside, finally free from his desire for revenge and tragic past. I'm not getting my hopes up for May, but it would make sense for him to be unlockable in the duelathon since it is right after the Yami Marik event with him showing up at the end of it.
