use warm worm, cuz its effect activates once its destroyed, and since most decks are 20 cards, warm worm will mill 9 cards, ur opponent will mill about 10 or so, and you just figureout how to stall for a few turns
I run a mill deck. Can't use WW. One of the card effects for sylvan and aromange prevents card effects from activating. I hate those decks and the people who use em
I use a SSA deck based on 3 Legendary Fisherman 2, 3 Shark Boat and 3 SSA. Legendary Fisherman 2 is unaffected by Marshalleaf if ALO is on the field, Shark Cruiser special summon 2 Water monster if it's destroyed by Marshaleaf. Not a 100% win because I need a good hand... but a Sylvan player also need a good first hand too... So...
fisherman II might be unaffected but it's atk are really low than sylvans monster, they have like 2400 and 2700 atk, wtf? and the rose lover unaffected by trap cards too so how the 🔥 lol?? marshalleaf will easily destroy our umi field spell,

Had to duel this deck like 7-8 times in 10 duels. Has to teeak my deck a little bit, took off 1 enemy controler and put skull invitarion and 2 different dimension ground.(ended up with 22 cards instead of 20) Activate those cards accordingly and you may have a chance.
Decent counter deck. Restart skill recommended. 1st turn dimension ground critical to set up Sylvan. Nukes Merchant Sylvan decks. Different dimension gate critical if you are going second. Remove face down sylan. Set up dimension ground for next round. Pop when opponent tries to send cards to graveyard. Divine fish and Co. Will mop up. If you want to 🔥 them so badly, use Hazy deck pump up with beast rising once you get something with 2800 atk sylvan can't touch you anymore.
I also found any OTK deck doing well against them. Any of them Cyber Angle, Inaba, Karate man. Sylvan good at destroy things in field so keep your cards in hand and stall with minimum cards until you're ready.
