Such misplaced pride. 83 Fur Hire. Hmmm a monkey banging on a keyboard would match anyone using them in skill. Nerfed to hell or add better archetypes solves this.
I think the Fur Hire hate is a bit exaggerated. I think any account running Fur Hire that is around 3 months old is a valid player trying to get KOG. It's a cheap deck that wins and any new account would need this to compete against older accounts that have had time to amass a significant collection.
Back in the day, it was hard for a newcomer to get E-Con, let alone Sphere Kuriboh and other UR cards being spammed (Mirror Wall), so the ladder was near impossible to compete in. Since Sylvans were released, new accounts have had access to KOG worthy decks without having grind excessively to complete a deck while also building up to a better collection.
Just to clarify, I'm not saying it's fair that a new account should be able to compete and get to KOG with ease, I'm just saying that it's easier to compete against an account with a better selection of cards than it used to be and that is good news for newcomers.
The hate is not misplaced. It's not about hate about Konami giving newcomers some good decks to reach KOG, Fur-Hire is not only a good deck this deck trampled over others.
Most people hate it because Fur Hire makes PvP boring because everyone using it, no variation at all.
Dude, I got all chars to 30+ lvls, and what now? how to get gems and beat 2-mnts players? Its impossible to buy that much gems and keep with the newest and the most powerful decks.
Misplaced is not the same as exaggerated. As I said before, I would find it reasonable for a newcomer to play Fur Hire as the alternative is quite expensive and resource-exhausting, I find it quite unforgivable for a Fur Hire player to be an already accomplished player just playing the most OP deck available for easy wins. Those players are making the game stale, not the newcomers.
It's naive to think old players won' play the most OP deck. OP deck will make the game stale, not new-comers or old players. Even the most brilliant or genius old player would never beat Furs with Kaibaman deck, except with some incredible luck.
Like wtf, you can't blame the game become stale to players, they just use what give them highest chances of winning.
