That's correct. Wonder when we'll get Synchro Material (basically the Synchro equivalent to Soul Exchange, though it's a Trap). Who knows, maybe they'll be ballsy enough to release Mind Control in Espa's event (though that's probably not a good idea.) Either way, Giganticastle's main point is just to be an easy 3100-3300 ATK beatstick anyway, you're not meant to be using 9 materials for it.
