I think silent sword slash makes it immune to any card effects you would attempt to use if chained correctly

I'm pretty sure Kuriboh doesn't affect the monster. The effect is for you.

Kuriboh, hallowed life barrier, and defense draw, as well as the astral/spirit barrier combo all protect the otk as they effect damage, not the monster

I think it went trough my regular Kuriboh or it was because i wanted to swap to toggle "on" and that it went from auto to off during the attack.
