Those cards can affect this monster, but they cannot be activated when that monster declares an attack, or is attacked by another monster.

A good example is when you use |Forbidden Chalice| on this card preemptively (before entering battle phase), and then activate the traps in response to the monster's attack declaration.

Wall and ruin can affect this card if another one of the opponent's monsters attacks
