I tried the paladin deck recipe and wow...not once did I succeed without properly using union attack. More than half the time I have to discard my whole hand because he constantly uses black illusion ritual or relinquish fusion. What a waste of duel orbs and time :/
I used a version that also used Buster Blader, and often, it's either eating up my hand, or he forced me to discard using Toon Gemini Elf. And it's inconsistent too. I often brick, and unless you can get the fusion up early, you might as well just take the loss.
The Paleo deck is too expensive for me, so I guess my only option left is to try the Air Hummingbird + double barrier Ra deck.
I used below deck, and very consistent, almost guarantee can get at least 1 SM out on the field on first turn because of Skill.
Skill : Light & Dark
1 SM LV8
3 SM
3 Blue Dragon Summoner
3 Gravekeeper Recruiter
1 Vassal
2 Union Attack
1 Secret pass
The rest is any level 4 dark spellcaster (include some vanilla such as The Illusory Gentleman for Blue Dragon summoner's search target)
You can also run 2 SM if you don't have 3 because the skill can search for it.
Blue Dragon summoner is just cheaper option. If you have Legion the Fiend Jester, it is better to use him instead as he is dark-type, thus can be use with the skill too if needed.
