I know this will offend some people, but how about instead of whining to have cards banned every time you get beaten; you try to analyze the cards for weaknesses and build your decks accordingly. I believe every card and every deck has its weaknesses. When you lose, why not review the duel and try to see how you can improve your skills and/or adapt your deck.
Yes losing is frustrating but I enjoy the challenge of trying to find ways to beat these different decks. Part of what makes this game so enjoyable is all the different possibilities for decks, and the challenges of making good, hopefully winning, decks.
Lets take Dakini and Machine Angel Ritual, for example. These cards got semi-limited for a reason and that is because MAR provides protection to an already very powerful Dakini who not only has piercing damage and also forces monster removal, but can bring back a ritual peace from the graveyard. Sure with the use of a few cards Dakini could be countered, but so can anyone else with fewer.
I have reached KoG this season using a Dark Magician deck, now this deck can easily summon Dark Magician and through the use of Dark Magic Attack and Thousand Knives, I can destroy an opponents backrow or any selected monster. This deck has counters to it, you can chain traps or quick play spells to Dark Magic Attack and housand knives is a rather simple monster removal.
