Obelisk is not invulnerable, it can be affected by many spells and trap cards that send him to the deck or even destroy him. I think Konami should eliminate or change the description. Instead of say unaffected by spell, trap or card effects, it should say by some spell, trap or card effects and make a list of the cards that affect it. Otherwise there is a lie in that description. Very annoying for me, trying to build a deck with Obelisk as a main power an discover that it is weaker than I thought.
The only thing Obelisk stops that Ra and Slifer don't is targeting effects. Anything else is fair game. There is zero logical reason to have ever thought it's immune to cards like Wall of Disruption or D.D. Assailant...
They just ruined my game also.
This is madnes. All anime we have seen went to thrash. Obelisk should not be affected by trap / spell or card effect.
If we follow the logic of konami almost every trap can destroy Obelisk and it does not make any sense. I playd level 10 Ishizu and she was able to destry obelisk. Level 10 !!! crazy !!!
Also the other egyptian gods efects are nullifieed :/.
