Ritual Beasts, ThunDras, CyDras (Blue eyes too, maybe?) should be on the tier list now. Number 37+Graydle Dragon Deck too, maybe.
Honestly I didnt expect Dark Magician to be hit... lol
Rod & Navigation at 3 really limits your deck, as if you run 2 Rod and your only Navigation gets Cosmic Cyclone'd the turn you set it, ya might as well scoop.
"But if they hit DM, to make it fair, they should hit Blue-Eyes as well."
When did you see BE win anything?
They keep losing to everyone and everything. But I agree they should limit Karma Cut, Raigeki Break, etc.. regardless if they are used in a BE deck or whatever else.
Yeah, staple traps like Fiendish Chain, Ballista Squad, Karma Cut, Needle Ceiling, Floodgate Trap Hole, Raigeki Break, and Paleozoic Canadia indeed should all be at limited 3.
Reducing the power of backrow used by OP decks means less powerful deck can actually compete against OP decks now.
Even then you'd limit some 🔥ty cards that nobody plays. It would be much better to limit some of the popular cards. Those are the only problematic cards.
They should change the deck building mechanic to somekind of a points system. Like in old GBA Yugioh game. For example; A deck can only have 100 points - each UR cards has 5 point, SR 3, R 2, and N at 1 point. So we have to balance out our cards, and no one can abusing UR cards
Agree. We have op rare cards and bad ultra rare cards (see axe raider). A funny concept could be to use only one card per "artwork", meaning you can only use a card only once in your deck EXCEPT cards with alternative artworks (e.g. you can run 3 bewd alternative artwork, or polymerisation etc). This could result in some funny decks and crazy random combos. After all, in anime each card is unique.
" each UR cards has 5 point, SR 3, R 2, and N at 1 point. "
It would be better if each card has their individual value, because not all cards of same rarity are at the same strength. For example you wouldn't compare Axe Raider with Aleister, even though both are UR rarity, start with A, and end with -er.
Yeap, some cards will be unlplayable (e.g. you need multiple peten the dark clown to use its effect). Despite that, I believe is healthier to have just 1 broken card rather than 3. Also, decks will not be so heavy depended on just one-two specific card combos and will have to use many since they will have enough space for many cards.
