For those who are stupid enough to think that the winged dragon of Ra is broken simply because it's a because it's an Egyptian God just remember that unless you pay life points ra's attack and def are a big fat zero yep zero(anime ra is much different from the irl game version)
Its stats are zero unless you have Sphere Mode which i dont' think will happen,which either way is pointless cause the rulings of Sphere mode require 3 tributes from either your side or opponent's, which not many duels have 3 monster zones filled up and even if they do, you are more likely dead.
Also the only reason i can see on why they say it will be broken is a LP gain Deck now i don't know all the cards in the game but the only major LP boost is Aegis o Gaia which people can destroy and you take 3000 which can 🔥 you, especially when you use Ra's effect to destroy something
Believe it or not some people actually think ra is broken (see pic for example) I could sorta see ra working in a fire princess (which we don't have :() deck but other than that his uses are somewhat limited, however I did forget about the sphere mode though lol
They probably seeing it from how Duel Links don't have a whole lot of the cards in today's game and how it is right now focused on the first Yu-Gi-Oh. But yeah his uses are limited
Without Sphere Mode you have to have where you can keep a field of 3 monsters either by having high ATK monsters which would be pointless as you can just end the game there or low ATK but have cards to protect them.
Not only that, but you have to counter your opponent's cards and be able to increase your LP before and after you Summon Ra. With Sphere mode you have to get 3 monsters on your field or the opponent's which honestly you can kinda end the game if you have 3. Ra has powerful effects, but the price to even get to or even use them outweight them making him a risky win condition to rely on.
