You're actually going to need to do 5 dragons for this. In the irl version, this was only made with Dragon's Mirror or Future fusion...so gonna be interesting. Also note, you can't use fusion substitute monsters either...has to be 5 F'ing dragons.

Why would you use fusion substitutes when they can only replace 1 card. You would still need 4 dragons.

Fusion substitutes only replace specifically named materials. Since this FHD requires 5 dragons(non-specific),you can't use them

actually you can. Almost sure that fusion substitute can be used. It work for Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer, so should worf for FHD. But you still need 4 other dragons, so not that easy anyway

It works for dragon destroyer because he asks for one specific(buster blader)+one unspecific(one dragon) materials.You can substitute bb,but you can't do so for the dragon.

When Fusion Summoning "Five-Headed Dragon", Fusion Material substitute monsters like "King of the Swamp" cannot be used as a Fusion Material unless the Fusion Material substitute monster is face-up on the field and its type is being changed to Dragon-Type by a card like "DNA Surgery".

I already know that. I just wanted to point out that even if you could use them, it would a bad decision when there are many dragon type cards with better stats or strong effects then those fusion substitutes.
