Yeah, a generic "LV" monster skill would be great. It's one of the worst archetypes and most support cards are just garbage.

Why would someone who hates skills play a game centered on the use of skill instead of playing the normal format where they don't exist

I'd love something like:

You can only use 1 of these per turn

*Reveal 1 LV monster in your hand; add 1 Level up! to your hand from outside your deck.
*Reveal 1 Level up! in your hand; play 1 LV monster from your deck.

Will only activate if your deck contains 8 LV monsters. You can't special summon monsters from deck or extra deck, except LV monsters. You can only normal summon LV monsters
