The games biggest mistake wasn't the release of the Paradox Brothers.
It was the release of Odion & Ishizu Ishtar.
The game should have followed the anime characters as they appeared on the TV Series.
They should have released the characters as they appeared in the anime.
Odion & Ishizu should have been Bones & Panik.
The release of the Paradox Brothers would have than followed the same time frame as the Anime Time Frame.
The problem is the game released Odion & Ishizu which never appeared in the season 1 Anime.
They appeared in the season 2 Anime.
People are expecting Marik because the game has set the time frame as season 2.
The release of the Paradox Brothers now seems absurd to people because they are going backwards to season 1 instead of continuing down season 2.
I love the Paradox Brothers.
I love the duel in the anime with Panik.
I love the duel in the anime with Bones.
However, I completely understand why people are upset.
The game should have never skipped over them to begin with.
No. Paradox dont take any part of the stories. No backgrounds, no deep introduction etcetc. Odion and Ishizu have background stories and even Ishizu has one of Millennium Items.
The problem is that they're going from major characters to minor characters. These nobodies seem underwhelming compared to Bakura and Pegasus. They should have started with the minor villains. Do Panik and the Paradox Bros BEFORE Pegasus, and then do Arkana and Strings and whoever else from season 2 BEFORE Marik. And then stick Bakura wherever because he was always just sort of there.
I'm ok and glad with Paradox but what you claim about 'They should of followed the anime characters as they appeared' is not make sense at all. They say Kaiba invite/force them to this link world. So it is not mimic story line, it's after that. And Kaiba has more reason to pick someone as Pegasus before these brothers. And who're Bones/Panik, I completely forgot about them
so I think Konami should not choose someone like them first at all. Paradox bros are still make an impression to me though. In fact, why Kaiba doesn't send his little bro to play here. That's my most curious about the plot lol
For your char balance thingy, anime/manga must NOT balance the story of main/minor character.
As all of us known the plot should focus to the main character, otherwise it is suck.
Minor is just minor, they're for 'helped create a very remarkable show' as you says, not more than that.
You may dislike those little servants but Takahashi himself select them to be 'main', cant be help lol
