Gladiator beast is way overkill unnerfed in this duellinks format at least.
They didnt want a couple decks to dominate the ladders so they do good nerfs to CA and redeyes.
Than they release Gladiator beasts and safira before the Kaiba cup unnerfed.
You nerf something too strong and replace it with something even more extreme.
How does that make sense?
Especially Gladiator beasts.
They didnt like how champ vigil was x3 gameplay and strengt wise.

Manage to attack/be attacked and than special summon to destroy/negate whatever you want. Not exactly hard with all the backrow options.
I wouldn't necessarily say that GB is that OP... Sure it is a good deck but definitely not too OP. Plus this add more deck into the meta its just they are newer thats why people is hyped testing it but surely other deck in the meta still can go toe to toe with it.
Gladiator is not OP, I will be surprised if there are that many gladiator beast decks being played in the KC Cup once people get bored. It's all about Saffira CA, which I agree is probably more broken than the original CA and will remain tier 0

The most anoying card is Sergent Electro... That's why a good GB player does not play with WOD, MW or Impenetrable Attack, but with Econ, Etaqua and Anubis.
Ok! I haven't understand correctly. I don't know. With Fusion to clear your clogged monsters and Bestiari, Parasite Burn is not always a problem. imo these two decks are great and equivalent.
This is the same company that released the broken Zoodiac and True Draco archetypes right before they introduce Link Monsters
No one bothered to buy the newer Link Monster sets when Zoodiac and True Draco still rules the meta, resulting in as much as THREE different sets in OCG to have their sales tanking. Even worse part, one of them is a MAIN SET.
And that is why Konami is promoting the unhealthy Grinder Golem-Firewall Dragon interaction for a while after doing a lot of Zoodiac and True Draco bans.
They need to get their profit back after their epic wrong decision costed them a lot of profit.
