It's because you're using a skill that prevents you from special summoning

You must also send Normal ->Monsters<- from your Deck to the Graveyard whose total Levels equal the Level of that Ritual Monster.

That's not true. You can use only one monster. Don't spread misinformation!

It's either due to a skill or to another card effect (yours or the opponents). If I had to guess I'd say that it's due to "A Trick Up the Sleeve"
