"jumping to GX events"? We've been getting a mix of DM and GX events since GX was launched, and this month's no different. The Chazz-a-Thon was the only new GX event this month, and it was a minor event. The last event before that was the DM-based Tag Tournament. Either way, so what if there were more GX events? DM's got a lot of content already. If anything, GX is UNDER-utilized right now.
