I know that Zane came first but komoney seems to toying with us. Espa is in the game since November and he isnt unlockable yet. Search it pal they say that his dialogue sounds like Syrus'in the japanese version. But even if its Syrus probably we'll get Power Bond
The Japanese dialogue does seem to fit Syrus more than Zane. (The pronoun usage also indicates a very slim possibility of Marik Ishtar, but I doubt that will happen). The question is, why? When that character survey was given, I really doubt that more people were voting for Syrus over Zane. Why is Konami so afraid of giving out characters with powerful cards, but has no problem with the boxes?
(continued) And if Syrus gives us Power Bond, what is the point of Zane's No Excuses! skill? It sounds like more Konami "logic". They are toying with us for sure.
To be fair, Zane (and thus his skills) are unreleased. They might not actually release the skill that gives Power Bond, or change it to give Overload Fusion instead or something.
That being said... I doubt we get Power Bond as a card. It's too much for a 4000 LP format, putting almost any Machine fusion into one-shot range.
The other duelist that should 've be added is Espa but it seems they are afraid of bringing Jinzo cause it will hurt the "game environment" the amazonness woman with massivemorph hurts the game more than Jinzo in my opinion. I think that Zane or Espa with Jinzo would be unlockable in the summer
Oh, I know Konami is afraid of Jinzo. Which is stupid because there are plenty of ways to 🔥 him. And it's not like Horus killed spells. I imagine they would only give one as Espa's signature card. With Marik, they may possibly be afraid of Necrovalley (also stupid to be afraid of). Zane hasn't been around THAT long yet, so it might not be fear of his Cyber Dragons on Konami's part for him.
Also Obelisk which is unaffected by spells and traps is kept fpr too long. They gave us Ra and i have never seen anybody using that card in the game. They should add more popular and classic cards even as limited cards. Besides no card is unbeatable.
Exactly. Obelisk is the card version of Zane, Espa, and Marik Ishtar. You know it is there, but Konami is just fidgeting around with worry about it being too powerful. I think that some people might use the gods in pvp, but I only use them to farm. And if everything that is too powerful gets released, what difference does it make anyway? Konami is just biding their time to the inevitable.
