it will be rouge deck, it won't be tiered, swallows nest at 3 was what overpowered it in the first place, now i can banish that pesky channeler in peace!
Swallow nest was used to dodge the s/t while destroying s/t thanks to the field. Also they put extra pressure on battle phases. However, replacing them with some lances will be more than enough for harpies to continue their reign.

Harpie was already glasscanon with 3 swallow nest n 3 books of donkey, imagine now. I play Resonator deck with 100% complete build n I never lost against a single harpie deck neither thunder dragon in kc cup, believe it or not. Now harpie is 100% dead u can put all the lances u want, if u dont draw one of ur three medium turn one... bye bye
Harpie with perfect starting hand cant ever beat a deck with 3 monster swarm turn one with 3000+ atk boss monster. Harpie is not capable to deal with an untargetable monster either, n that was for the not banned harpie. Now.... U ll see the banned version
Personally I won't use lance while using the stall theme.
The deck itself need more consistency since cards scattered all over the deck, and certainly this one doesn't discard hysteric sign or harpist to even add card.
I don't want to draw this card while having absolutely no stall cards, or not having cyber slash in that turn
Dude, you guys are idiots. The only weakness of the Harpie deck is the Book of Money the first harpie summoned or Karma cut it. Forbidden Lance saves it in place by making it immune to spells and traps allowing you to continue the combo. Swallow's nest was limited because it offered the ability to swap out the first targeted harpie with another one and trigger a second effect. Do you play Harpie?
For those who didn't pay attention to game mechanic, cyber slash effect could be avoided by chaining the spell / trap effect with your monster quick effect.
Yeah, it goes to what variant you are using.
I didn't run lance in 30 card variant and didn't run sign or harpist in 20 cards variant. The 20 cards tend to turbo cyber slash and protecting it while 30 cards is literally disrupting opponent with backrow and reinforcing your hand from the discarded harpie cards.
