I suppose that's fine if you really care about rubbing it in for them. But I think I'd rather just tech some counter traps or forbidden chalice. Maybe even silent swordsman.
I only got one divine though and only use providence in blue eyes. A good way to make it more worthwhile for newer players to invest in the more ancient cards is for Konami to run the half gem price sale on older boxes more often.
Ultimate Providence is R tho. Not to mention it also available on dragunity structure deck.
This is actually one kind of card that you eventually need as META goes on will lead into monster effects hysteria.
The counter trap, however, will eventually replaced by hand trap
