I've only been playing for just over a month and this is my first experience with the card game so I'm still super new to all this. I'm looking for advice on how to make my BEUD deck better. This deck is actually good for me and my play style but I know it has a lot of problems. I do win about 55-60% of the time though, if not a bit more. I'm not looking to get super meta game focused and I'd like to stick with using Mokuba and Kaiba-Corp Bling. Two of my BEWDs are glossy but sadly not all three. The main points I want to adjust are Ancient Dragon, Mirage Dragon, Dragonic Guard, and Red-Eyes Wyvern. Any recommendations on better Spell/Trap cards would be appreciated too. BEUD is in the Extra Deck. I'm willing to grind LDs and/or go through numerous card packs for any helpful cards. Please don't comment just to 🔥 me/my deck/the way I play. I just want to do better and have fun. Any kind of polite advice is welcome! :)
Thank you for the advice! I'll definitely give those cards a try once I get them. I didn't know you could spend gems on structure decks so I'll have to level grind a bit first.
You should add some defense cards because there will be times when you either brick or just can't play the blue eyes. Gives more chances to get the cards you need. Some popular ones are
Wall of disruption
Mirror wall
Enemy controller
I agree with the removing of the cards the other player suggested. Add in more kaibaman he summons blue eyes easily
If you ever get the Draconic Force Structure Deck, you can consider using Hieratic Dragon of Nuit. If you active its effect, you can get a BEWD out right away. It'll be at 0 ATK/DEF, but you can still use it for Burst Stream of Destruction and fusion summoning BEUD. If it does get destroyed, you can still summon it from the grave using Dragon's Rebirth (which if from the same structure deck).
If you're looking for a free defensive card, try leveling Mai. One of her level up rewards is Windstorm of Etaqua, quite a decent defense card. Odion also has a good defense card for one of his level up rewards (Curse of Anubis), but unlocking Odion is much harder than unlocking Mai.
