I can't win against deck. If I go second and set a monster it will get banished via their circle effect. They can also negate spell or traps as well pure ca.nc.er.ous
Well, if Konami doesn't do this Dark Magician players won't have a reason to switch to a new deck after the KC cup.
No switch means no money.
They know when it is time to nerf.
I understand now why Konami keeps making new cards instead of spending more time balancing the game.
They just have to nerf every existing decks before releasing a new one. Since the new one will be much stronger people who wishes to stay competitive have to keep buying cards.
I see now why most decks get less used as time goes by.
Come on, we all know Konami isn´t the only one with this business model. Blizzard does exactly the same with Hearthstone, and WotC does the same with Magic the Gathering. Hell, even Pokémon.
All TCGs eventually release new, more OP cards that blatantly overshadow the old ones to force more purchases. It´s pretty much inevitable.
Sadly, this is why I couldn't get my friends to join Duel Links.
Games like Dota 2 and Leagues of Legends balances their game instead of bringing out a new best meta deck every few months, and they still make profit.
From what I see, in my country, YuGiOh is a dying brand. Newer generations don't even consider playing this game. We are in a "real" F2P era after all.
if they converted the entire game to digital i would spend money on it. the worst part of tcg is having to manually do everything, the video games speed up play drastically. practice makes perfect i suppose but duel links comes perfect.
Not gonna happen dark magician is the brand new deck .. decks like elementsaber blackwing and all other tiered decks are older dark magician is no way getting hit as it's a balanced deck and not op u people are actually lossers who can't play the game and complain get gud morons
