I'd guess probably genuine. It has a 50% chance of opening Grass alongside a relevant Trap Card, and even if it doesn't open Grass, you at least get A Fusion. (I could see Gem-Knight Fusion + Type Zero Magic Crusher hands causing some frustrating losses, however.)
