Now that trap monsters don’t clog backrow anymore, are they an invincible deck? Reminder that CSD with that 2500 statue means infinite effect destruction, and that the vast majority of this game’s players only have 1 Psychoshocker.

Trap monster never were a problem simply because they suffer both from monster and trap removals. There are so many "pop the field go for win" cards today that can handle them without jinzo. The good thing with new rullings is that at least now they can be competitive.

Maybe they aren't trying hard enough. It's possible to set fields full of Floodnadias that prevent monster effects that would mass remove the trap monsters, while still having the trap monsters. I have an extremely hard time with a deck like this, more so than against meta.

i tested a trap de c k with simple roids and the problem is it can be popped as it counts as a monster cardo too .so just as the first replier told.its not viable on its own.i try to combine it with roids but still need better trap monsters.

Except the whole reason why this deck is so good is floodgate, meaning their ability to use it without clogging their spell and trap zones. Being floodgated prevents the typical way of overpowering them which is filling the board with monsters that top their cheap effect destruction tactics.

This deck isn't a meme, nor is it comparable to regular decks like agents. You're not taking stall burn and related decks seriously. Anything that has to do with stall burn and uses its tactics is always the most prominent force and needs to be the top biggest priority to take down.

No, they didn't. They are being used widely today. It doesn't matter how good they are, they will always be used a lot. The people who use them don't use them because they're good. I thought that was obvious. They're scum and the top deck to beat, always.
