Hey guys and gals,
I have been playing this game for fun up until the KC Cup. Since then I have realized that the meta is controlled by relinquished decks and the win rate is impeccable.
My question for you all is this: will the card ever return, or do you think it will be banished to the forbidden/ limited list?
I ask this with serious regard because I don't want to continue investing in neo-impact packs for senju's (I already have three sonic birds), and I want to help others like me make informed choices in this game.
This game is F2P, and I want to continue playing that way. However, after playing other card games (mainly magic the gathering), whenever a specific card(s) dominates the meta or discriminates creativity, they ban it.
In the end, I just want to make sure I am putting my gems in the right place.
Yeah so this is probably the most common question that gets asked. Unfortunately if you ask koonami this which you probably have you will get the same 🔥 wander of not being able to disclose upcoming events. Relinquished is indeed super powerful but my personal thoughts are it will not be banned since they are releasing more and more cards like "Divine Wrath" that simply just destroy it
and of course theres always the simple "Magic Jammer" that just stops it in the first place. As for its return, I do believe it will come back, the event its self "Welcome to Toon World" was immensely popular even crashing their server for a time. Not only that but its just simply not fair that some duelist will have such a powerful card and some people whom just so happen to start a day later
never get to have the chance to obtain it in the first place and once more for a lot of the fans of not just the game but the anime thats there favorite card so I'm sure they event will return. I imagine the event will return fairly soon as well since the even before "Welcome to Toon World" was the "Yugi Muto" event and obviously thats happening right now. I don't think they will ban it since its pretty easy to counter with cards like E-con, despell and magic jammer. I'm pretty sure the event will come back since everyone loved it.
Quite a long time considering we have the Bakura event coming up afterwards so they might unfortunately do some type of Yugi new character system, ie. Yugi->Bakura->Yugi->Marik->Yugi->Mokuba etc. Until they eventually double back to Pegasus. If thats the case I would definitely continue buying neo-impact because it will probably be discontinued by the time it comes back around and you will have
lost the chance to get any Senjus which are obviously pivotal to a Relinquished deck. Well I hope this helps I myself am in the same frustrated boat. Its my favorite card and I started playing the day the server went down and then picked it back up the day it ended unaware that it was an event and lost my chance. I've spent tons of gems building my relinquesed deck and really hope it wasnt wasted!
lol don't lie to us crabbie u didn't get relinquished NOT because you played the day after nor you are too ignorant that it was an event (lol srsly who are u fooling?) but I have this strong intuition that you REALLY SUCKED AT PEGASUS EVENT and cried while the event was on and just merely gave up after a day or so, that's really the case for most noobies you know
Relinquished decks are powerful, yes, but like others said they can be countered easily too. And the Pegasus event ended like only a month ago I think?
So I guess you may have to wait like 6+ months at least till it happens again(that's my guess, could be more). But am 100% sure Pegasus and Relinquished will be back someday. Just need patience :)
