If they really want this game to keep momentum then they will add 2v2 tag team where you can party up with your friend to face off against two unknown player similar to 1v1. That should have a ranking system as well and transit to 5 cards and 8,000 LP and 40 card minimum but we can wait on that. Keep it as old school as you can. Will they listen?

Waiting on the 2v2 tag team will not work many will quit because of the sour taste playing with an AI will be and lack of community immseriveness
