No, I did NOT have to sacrifice Any of my 4 Stones (3 Ancient 1 Legend) to play 1 copy this card, if you have 1 stone of legend to discard it with card of Consonance you most likely draw 1/2-3 more Blue Eyes cards in your hand, and you can use Draconnec to search up Alternative,

Not to mention this card can also be useful to bring back Dragon Spirit of white back into the deck if you draw it

Yea exactly. This card's been saving my butt couple times. Finally I can send back that garnet Spirit of White, and fetch Alternative instead.
