It suprises me that everyone overhypes and talks about vortex and daigusto while none pays attention to the harpies. Have you realised that harpies almost got everything they need?? Do you see that they even got hysteric sign as a rare? As it seems most dl players here are really young and missed the time when harpies dominated the TCG before some years. Well, let me educate you: I can confirm 100% we got a new meta deck. Wake up. Vortex is just 1 ok card. Harpies is a new meta deck.
I hope so too, harpies have one of the best artwork in this game and given how they have skills ready you can totally play the deck with the most rightful charater to use is, not lunalights played by Atem coz destiny draw exist.
Yeah the most popular build going around in omega is using lvl augmentation
Lvl aug channeler->summon perfumer->add egotist + any other spell you missing from hunting/sign or even rest-> use egotist->activate hunting and sign->summon slash->destroy sign-> add 3 during end phase
^ Or you can just keep hysteric sign in hand and use it as discard fodder for karma or whatever trap you have, you still end up adding 3 in the end phase
Tcg went downhill once pendulums were introduced. The current state of the game is just a mess. Duel Links feels a lot like how the tcg used to before all the crazy rule changes.
Judgement dragon was already released and never played. Basically Levianeer is just better.
OP is not saying that "TCG good implies DL good" but that Harpies got ALL cards.
So the question is legit.
If a deck archetype has ALL card, is it good in DL?
BTW Harpie will suck because already powercrept. Should have been released last year I guess.
^That doesn't happen, I remember that scenario happening once in ygopro;
A perfumer got karma cut but only the other copy of perfumer in the gy got banished, not the rest of the harpie ladies.
So that's why. This rulings are really a headache Lol. So to be able to banish the other harpie cards via karma cut you need to banish the original vanilla harpie lady which will not be played anyway.
Yeah, the "then" in Karma Cut means it only check the name of the initial target AFTER it is banished.
When the Perfumer on the field is banished, after it is banished it is no longer "Harpie Lady", so Karma Cut cannot banish Harpie Ladies that are in the Graveyard, only other copies of Perfumer.
However, you don't need to banish the original vanilla to banish all others - banishing Cyber Harpie Lady or Harpie Lady 1/2/3 also works, since they are treated as Harpie Lady everywhere, even when banished.
