so far this deck got me to platinum rank 3 but is there anything to make it better by adding or dropping cards. any help is appreciated.

Take out 1 tree and 2 magicals. Add some anti-effect spells

Remove 1 or 2 magical merchant
Add 1 or 2 carrot
Remove flowerknight 3x
Add Guardiok 3x
Raging 🔥 plant is player preference. I would add econs of removing 3rd merchant I recommend adding providence
In the end depends what works best for you. Cheers

Try not to invest so much into skillvans. Soz it restricts you from exploring a multitude of different archetypes.
But guardioak is definitely a must
