This deck looks amazing. It feels slightly slower than Red-eyes and has no spell/trap removal. So it may be tier 1 but on the low end. This site may rank it something like 8.2.
The video showed a lot of duels. If you get Dikini out Turn 1, it's basically GG. The fact that the ritual monster can even remove face down monsters from the field is game breaking.
We'll be seeing it alot next season in the KOG decks. Let alone in the new kaiba cup.
With a little more support from the new box, counter fairys can also rise up. Now's the time :D
I actually just noticed the destruction negate from the ritual spell card. Wow. Scratch that 8.2. It is now a 9. It will tie REZD. Econ will mess this deck up. This deck doesn't have room for extra cards like Econ. You have to fill it with search cards to make it super strong. REZD also has the remove from play effect that will negate this deck completely. So I say it will be a tie. Both are 9s.
Not tier 0 relax. Econ steal forces dakini to destroy itself. And dark paladin shuts down the whole deck. So does the cursed seal trap. Its tier 1 not 0. Don't buy into the dkayed waaay over hype bs
Econ and Heavy Flame (the banisher) are in every REZD. They're not for this deck specifically. The fact that this deck can't stop the most popular card from being useful is the problem. Every deck has ECon. With REZD, it doesn't matter if you have Econ, REZD will keep coming back repeatedly. Phoenix doesn't care about Econ because it destroys it before it is useful anyways.
All I'm saying is, that is apart of the new meta. Not actually surpassing it. No tier 0. It is tier 1 and I changed my opinion on it being an 8.2. It is a 9. Everyone will Econ it. If you add measures against Econ, then you're wasting the precious deck space you need to make this a tier 1. Thereby slowing the deck down and leaving it vulnerable to the faster tier 1 decks.
you can't have a tier 0, it's click bait. First of all, every deck has counterdeck. So even if everyone plays this in the following 3 weeks, we just tweak meta to a 2-deck battle. Then you will see a third deck to just adapt, then new expansion, etc..
So tier-0 is just a click bait of few days, you will have a balance among at least 3 decks after a while.
