No real staple/tech-cards in this box. mostly just introducing new monster"families" and their combocards. if you already have a good built deck and are thinking about saving for this box: there's no real need to. but if you have the money and want to build a gladiatordeck, go for it.
the only decks I see getting "buffed" are CA, Fusiondecks and maybe REZ and beastrising.
"I play control deck and this box has nothing realy for me. not worth the gems. think I'll go for my 3. WoD or 2nd floodgate" -> Control decks are so boring... How can you only play with that?
yes cosmic cyclone is nice. but it's an UR which means you'll need to spend lots of money to get it 2-3times (or just be very lucky)
and yes Genex actually get interesting with the new cards. but the only 2 cards I am seeing getting played in highranks are cosmic cyclone and that ritual spellcard in CA decks.
