Floodgate and canadia can't counter fur hire if they go first. However, this card, can because it is a trap that CAN BE ACTIVATED DURING YOUR OPPONENT'S FIRST TURN EVEN IF THEY GO FIRST. Basically, this is a handtrap version of chalice.
And Infinite Impermanence is a new card too. Almost as if they released it so close to Fur Hire's release in OCG/TCG because it is planned to be in DL once it's time to put in Fur Hire counters
