I'm very sure Junk Destroyer won't destroy any cards if summoned via this card, making it actually the worst choice for this card.
The non-Tuners in this case are only used as a cost for an effect that Special Summons, they're not actually used as Synchro Materials. As a result, Junk Destroyer has no reference for its effect, so Junk Destroyer's effect does not activate.
Sure, the Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon, but it just so happens that the cost for the effect that Special Summons, mimic how you normally Synchro Summons. But you don't actually properly use them as materials.
The only source I ever found regarding summoning Junk Destroyer with this card, is the Tips page in Wikia which can be edited by anyone, including those unfamiliar with card rulings.
