There's actually no Level 8 DARK Insects in the TCG or OCG, either.

That being said, we DO, however, have Forbidden Chalice here, which will reset this thing back to 2600. Could be worth keeping in mind.

The main idea of cards with effect like this is NOT to use them for battle, but to use them as Materials.

Fusion/Synchro/Xyz Materials.

They weren't created with that purpose in mind, actually. We got Fusilier Dragon and Beast King Barbaros before 5D's, and this particular card debuted in the manga, where all it did was be Summoned, attack, and die.

Hundred-Footed Horror in the manga doesn't have the ATK reduction, so using this thing as a beatstick is actually a thing in the manga.

Fusilier and Barbaros however, I admit I forgot they were made with Skill Drain in mind, to act as easily summoned beaters.

Speaking of which, when are we going to get Skill Drain in DL
