The deck is slow, if you open all monsters you lose, if you open only traps you get into a terrible card disadvantage, if your opponent has cosmic cyclone the same you never overcome the hand disadvantage, if they floodgate/banish sunsaga just surrender.

All the wins I got from the "new" shiranui was because my opponents thought it was a stall deck

I have to agree the deck isn’t as good as you think, but it’s still good(not top tier good). Their boss monster is still very good and they can still search cards from the deck easily.

Yes the deck is stil KoG worthy but not tiered

Spectralsword and Solitaire will keep seeing play in zombie decks and that's a good thing zombies really need those cards

i faced is much harder to break through.with that added backrow its more pain in the as s match long wise.

But the monsters that were removed were f2p for most of them.
Replacing it with backrow makes the deck very balanced now because the UR backrow are very expensive, thus hard limiting the power of Zombie decks.

This is a very f2p move.

I’m not arguing the guy I’m responding to, but honestly, people playing decks from old deck boxes should stop complaining about F2P. With all the gems from box releases, char lvl ups, events, etc., people have enough free gems to roll the box 3 times in it’s entirety and then some(with the exception of that spell card that they don’t use anyways from that one box)

^^^^ I (tried) to play new shiras and I agree with what the guy above said, drawing trap after trap is not good you guys may feel like we have the control of the duel but that's not the case we keep going +0 or -1 each turn trying to stall you while you keep going +1 each turn karmas and ballistas are useless if we keep draw it traps just keep pushing with patience and you'll win.

Maybe it’s time to slot in other options then. You have 6 cards out of 20 to send spec sword to grave plus your 3 copies which in itself is pretty good consistency. Other than that, zombies have a lot of support like dragonnecro. Also samurai skull is sent away from anything other than battle you special summon from deck. Gozuki from grave. You might have to rebalance something
